RE: Bowed interior wall
If you will follow these directions exactly, it is very easy to post pictures on our forums. One of our moderators, 1492, developed this photo posting app to post your pictures. It works for other internet sites also. There is no need to have a separate hosting site for your pictures in order to use it.
It is very simple to use. Follow these directions exactly. Do NOT make any changes to the results when you get them.
1. Upload your picture from your computer to the app.
2. Copy the resulting URL.
3. Paste that URL into your post without ANY changes. No additions or deletions.
Your picture will then appear in your post and be properly sized for use on our forums.:)
Also, for all members information: We will shortly have new software for the forum and just about all of our gripes have been solved. Look for an announcement in the next week or two, or at least before the holiday season.

RE: Founded in 1928, RV company in Liquidation
You are correct as usual John. I am getting old! It is a 2004 model not a 1994.:o
Sunline was another one that had a great reputation but went out of business anyway.
Thank you for setting me straight.:)

RE: Founded in 1928, RV company in Liquidation
Had SunnyBrook 5th wheel had 13 years the only thing replaced was the tires
Our Sunnybrook, bought new in 2004, is still in use by us today. It has been a very comfortable, reliable trailer.:)
Too bad that they too, like the one in the OP, went out of business several years after our purchase.

RE: Window screen clips broke. Where can i find these?
Good morning Lee,
No, your pictures did not show up. We have an app, designed by our own Moderator 1492 that is a very simple to use and it results in pictures that will post and be properly sized for use in our forums. You can just click on this link to get started.
All you do in his app is upload your picture, copy the url that results, and paste it into your post. Do not add or subtract anything. Could not be simpler than that. Your picture will appear and be properly sized. You don't use the picture posting icon in the small boxes above the large dialog box at all.

RE: Better options for couches?
We purchased our leather wall hugger recliner couch from Costco and a great recliner chair from Bradd and Hall located in Elkhart, IN. Neither one is the cheap quality stuff you get from many other outlets but high quality, comfortable, long lasting, good looking furniture.:)
Both fit thru the door easily.

RE: What to do when warranty won’t help
I wish you good luck but keep in mind that our forum rules prohibit any kind of legal action discussion regarding a members situation. As soon as you mention taking any kind of legal action against the manufacturer or dealer your thread will be deleted. This is just a heads up.
Here is the specific section of the rules I am talking about.
Posts are not allowed in which a local, state, or federal consumer action board and/or legal counsel is/have been involved. This includes posts related to future, ongoing or past lawsuits.
Good luck!

RE: Power Gear Slide Motor Removal & Installation Questions
Openspaces,
It is not height that is causing the scrolling - it is the width. Your explanation of what to do is spot on except to change the word "height" to "width" and make the width 640px.. In other words just type in width=640 just in front of the Img statement.
If you want to see what I did to change the size, just click on quote and you will see it. Just don't continue with the quote.

RE: New Forest River Wolf pup 2023 Catastrophic Failure :(
Snip... If the problems persist, consider seeking legal advice to ensure your concerns are addressed. Keep records and stay in contact with the dealer and manufacturer. while the above is good advice,
any mention of legal action of any kind will lead to this thread being either shut down or deleted. This is according to our forum rules.

RE: Garmin RV 895 and Fifth Wheels
I think that is referring to the height of a 5th wheel not the length. In fact, for a given length of the trailer, a 5th wheel would be shorter than a travel trailer because part of the 5th wheel is above the truck instead of behind it. Ex. A 30 ft. TT would be longer than a 30ft 5th wheel if you measured from the front bumper of the truck to the rear bumper of the trailer. It would certainly be taller though and perhaps there is not enough info on bridge clearances etc. to recommend routes for a 5er in those areas.
Could be wrong although I can't think of any other reason they would specifically mention 5th wheels.

RE: Love Seat Swap Options
We did a similar thing quite a few years ago. Found a very nice leather, wall hugger recliner couch at Costco. The backs came off so it was an easy trip thru the door. The weight has not been a concern at all. I think just about any brand will work the same way. As long as you can get it thru the door - don't worry about the added weight in the slideout. The difference between the two is not that much and will not be a problem.

RE: 12 volt fridges
Mickey48,
Probably not. There are parasitic items in the trailer that consume very small amounts of electricity all the time. Radio or TV, Smoke and CO detector are two of them.
You will find that the battery will only last about two weeks before being discharged.
When leaving my trailer for extended periods without elec hookups, I used to just disconnect one of the battery cables from the battery. Easy to do and there is no question of whether the battery will be drawn down by "phantom" electrical items in the trailer.:)
